Reiki for Grief Recovery: VERY Brief OverviewMar 07, 2023
You might first say something like: "Yaay!"
Followed by: 'What's Reiki?'
Reiki is a type of energy therapy to help reduce pain, alleviate anxiety and make you feel better all around.
It works on the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels
It involves the channeling of healing energy from the heavens, through the practitioner or Reiki master, and into you.
Reiki is intelligent energy that knows how much and where you need it most.
While we Reiki masters and practitioners can give the Reiki energy "suggestions" of where we or our clients might think we want it to flow, it's going to do what it needs to do to achieve the highest good.
Physical pain in our bodies can actually stem from underlying emotional blockages. Ever notice how you might get a sore throat if you've been afraid to speak your truth or say something you need to say?
Reiki will address the underlying causes, not just the symptoms on the surface.
Reiki is powerful indeed
And it's positive indeed. It can NEVER be used to harm. You can't overdose or use it wrongly, either.
There's no such thing as too much Reiki. But I'd argue there's such a thing as too little!
It's exceptional for unblocking and releasing grief and other pent-up emotions, clearing the way for fresh, positive, energy to flow through.
